This article deeply explores the innovative application and integration of Yi elements in Chuxiongzhou, Yunnan Province in modern interior design. The Yi nationality, as the main ethnic minority in Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, has its rich cultural heritage and unique national characteristics, which provide a valuable source of inspiration for modern interior design.,The study first analyzed the core elements such as traditional patterns, colors, materials and spatial layout of the Yi nationality, and discussed in detail the specific application of these elements in modern interior design. Traditional patterns of the Yi nationality, such as horse cherry blossoms, sheep horn patterns, etc., add a unique national style to the indoor space.At the same time, bright colors such as red, yellow and black, which are loved by the Yi people, have also been cleverly integrated into modern interior design, creating a rich and vibrant atmosphere.,The research results show that the application of Yi elements in modern interior design not only enriches the cultural connotation of indoor space, but also enhances its aesthetic value and practicality. At the same time, it also provides a new perspective and practical path for the inheritance and development of Yi culture.
