STUDENTS’ OPINIONS ON PARTICIPATING IN EXTRA CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES AT THE FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, SUAN SUNANDHA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

              The objective of this research was to study and compare the students’ opinions on participating in extra curriculum activities at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in four aspects; academic, sports, social volunteer, art and culture classified by demographic characteristics. The samples in this study consisted of 345 students from Faculty of Science and Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in 2018. The instrument for collecting the data was five-level rating scale questionnaires. The statistical methods to use analyze data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance and least significant difference. The findings were 1) students’ opinions on participating in extra curriculum activities at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in all aspects were at a high level. 2) Students in different gender and grade point average had no different opinions on participating in extra curriculum activities at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.3) Students in different years of study and department had statistically significant different opinions on participating in extra curriculum activities in all aspects at 0.05 level.
