Factors Supporting the Development of Online Meeting Organization with in the College of Allied Health Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University
Abstract
Advancements in technology have significantly transformed the organization of meetings, facilitating a shift from traditional in-person gatherings to online platforms that enhance operational efficiency across various departments. This study aimed to explore the supporting factors related to online meetings of the College of Allied Health Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, to develop an effective management system. Qualitative data collected from interviews across six units of the college identified important supporting factors, including the predominant use of the E-office system for scheduling and Google Meet for conducting meetings, the availability of necessary online channels and devices, strong managerial support, and ongoing maintenance of equipment. The study also highlighted the advantages of online meetings, such as cost reduction, efficient coordination, multi-location capabilities, and increased attendance, along with challenges like participant limits, environmental distractions, variability in equipment, gaps in technical proficiency, and inconsistent internet quality. This information is crucial for developing an effective meeting organization within the college.
