DEVELOPMENT OF ENGLISH-SPEAKING SKILLS FOR COMMUNICATION OF GRADE 6 STUDENTS BY USING BIRDING CLUB ACTIVITY

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to develop English speaking-skill for communication of grade 6 students and study students’ satisfaction of grade 6 students for learning management by using Birding Club activity. The target group of this research was 10 Grade 6 students studying in the first semester of the 2022 academic year at Demonstration School of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The sample were students, purposively selected, who choose to study at the Birding Club. The research instruments included four lesson plans, English-speaking skill assessment form and student satisfaction questionnaire for learning management by using Birding Club activity. Statistics used for data analysis included mean and percentage. Findings of this research were as follows; the students made a mean achievement score of English-speaking skills by using Birding Club activity have an average score 50.10 or 83.50 percent which is higher than the threshold of 70 percent. The students were most satisfied with development of students of 93.60 percent, learning activities of 92.67 percent and learning atmosphere of 91.00 percent.
