http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSSHANGHAI2026/article/view/2131
This article aims to examine the factors, approaches, and strategies that contribute to increasing sales of community products in Ranong Province, Thailand. Ranong is a coastal province along the Andaman Sea with considerable potential in terms of natural resources, cultural heritage, and a wide range of community-based products, including local coffee products, processed fruits, health-related products, and traditional handicrafts. At present, some community products in Ranong have been promoted through various development initiatives, such as the registration of Geographical Indication (GI) for “Ranong Coffee,” which serves to enhance product value and strengthen market recognition, This study employs a mixed-methods research design, integrating both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected from community entrepreneurs, marketing promotion officers, and consumers. The analysis focuses on key factors influencing sales performance, including brand development, packaging improvement, the use of online marketing channels, collaboration between the public and private sectors, and participation in marketing activities at the local, regional, and international levels, The findings reveal that “the creation of a strong product identity” and “access to diverse market channels” are critical factors in increasing sales of community products. Successful entrepreneurs tend to leverage digital tools to expand their distribution channels and continuously develop products that align with consumer needs and preferences. Furthermore, the expansion of commercial networks—such as participation in trade exhibitions like Ranong Trade Town and the application of the GI system—significantly enhances product credibility and facilitates access to international markets. The results of this study provide practical implications for relevant stakeholders and policymakers in designing integrated support mechanisms to strengthen community product development, increase sales performance, and promote long-term sustainability.Watanyu ChoopakPornkiat Phakdeewongthep

2026-03-042026-03-04220231Optimizing Fruit Storage, Sorting, and Distribution in Packing Center to Minimize Waste During the Covid-19 Crisis
http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSSHANGHAI2026/article/view/2133
Effective storage sorting, and distribution of fruits will reduce the very high postharvest losses and waste. Consider the COVID-19 case in which supply chains across borders had been disturbed as several products spoiled. This therefore, proposes various ways through which fruit packing plants can advance further in enhancing sustainability and operation efficiency. A combined quantitative survey research and qualitative interview mixed-method design was conducted as research design for this study. A total of six orchards and six packing plants were targeted; 12 from the total 24 populations, respectively. Statistical tools include, in this case, descriptive statistics and content analysis. Key outcomes of improvement will be at storage, sorting, and distribution stages. The key improvements on fruits storage involve stacking fruits in assigned zones, periodical re-supplying stock to keep in balance, inspecting the same before storing. Heat-sensitive fruits should be stored in storage with fast circulation to avoid deterioration. Sorting should have a specific space for fruit placement and be sorted continuously to clear the stocks. Fruits should be oriented properly and labels placed for easy identification to ensure smooth handling. Fresh fruits should be handled with care, packed in the truck, lying first with heavier fruits at the bottom, with temperature-controlled containers for proper sorting by grade and size to be distributed efficiently. All these good practices will raise productivity, lower wastage, and increase better inventory accuracy. Long-term benefits would be ensured when fruit packing plants revisit their operational manuals to update the procedures for employeesNatpatsaya SetthachotsombutNatapat AreerakulkanGritsada Sua-iamMohd Rizaimy Shaharudin

2026-03-042026-03-04282288The Role of Digital Traceability Systems in Promoting Sustainable Development of Durian Export Supply Chains
http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSSHANGHAI2026/article/view/2138
The global agri-food trade has made openness, food safety and sustainability increasingly important for doing business in other countries. Countries that import goods have made their rules about where products come from how to control chemical residues keeping the cold chain intact and being good for the environment to be stronger in the last few years. This is especially true for agricultural products that are worth a lot of money and go bad quickly (FAO, 2023; OECD, 2023). Because durian is sensitive to how it is handled and is becoming more popular on global markets, especially in East Asia it is a high-value tropical fruit that must meet strict quality and traceability standards. The results show that digital traceability systems like QR code-based identification centralized data platforms and real-time logistics tracking make the durian export supply chain much more open, reliable and coordinated. From an operational point of view combining traceability data with logistics operations makes it easier to manage inventory the cold chain, and transportation which lowers the chances of losing products and having problems with logistics. Digital traceability is good for the economy because it makes exports more competitive and lowers the costs of doing business. It also makes better use of resources and cuts down on waste which is good for the environment. Finally, it helps society by getting more farmers involved, making sure that food safety rules are followed and making people more confident in durian products that are sent abroad. The study says that digital traceability systems are not only technological tools but also strategic tools for running a sustainable supply chain. The policy implications underscore the necessity for synchronized public-private support and capacity-building initiatives to enable agricultural exporters to implement scalable and contextually pertinent digital traceability.Anchalee Hiranphaet

2026-03-042026-03-04289300Logistics and Cold Chain Factors Influencing the Export Performance of Thai Durian to the Chinese Market
http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSSHANGHAI2026/article/view/2139
Thai durian is one of Thailand's most important agricultural exports. China is the biggest market for it, both in terms of volume and value. Chanthaburi Province is very important to this trade because it is where most of the durian in Thailand is grown and shipped out. Because durian spoils quickly, the success of its export depends a lot on how well logistics work and how well the cold chain is managed throughout the whole supply chain. Quality can go down and money can be lost if there are problems or inefficiencies at any point. Consequently, this study investigates the logistics and cold chain elements affecting the export performance of Thai durian to the Chinese market, specifically concentrating on Chanthaburi Province. A quantitative research methodology was utilized. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from important people involved in durian exports, such as exporters, logistics service providers, and cold chain operators who send shipments to China. We looked at 200 valid responses using descriptive statistics, tests of reliability and validity, and multiple regression analysis. This study looked at logistics factors like how well transportation works, how reliable delivery is, how to manage lead times, and how to get supply chain partners to work together. Cold chain factors included keeping the right temperature, moving goods in refrigerated trucks, having cold storage facilities, and making sure that cold chain conditions stayed the same throughout the distribution process. The quality of the products, the reliability of the delivery, and the competitiveness of the exports were all used to measure export performance. The findings demonstrate that logistics and cold chain factors significantly affect export performance. Cold chain factors, in particular, were found to have a big effect on the quality of the product and how reliable the delivery was. These results show how important good cold chain management is, along with good logistics operations, for making Thai durian exports more competitive. The study gives useful information to exporters and policymakers, stressing the need to improve logistics infrastructure and cold chain systems to help Thailand's agricultural exports grow in a sustainable way.Vara SarainmoonVito Willems

2026-03-042026-03-04428434The Strategic Role of Digital Operational Efficiency in Mediating Green Logistics and Carbon Footprint Reduction: A Study of Thai SMEs
http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSSHANGHAI2026/article/view/2157
As the global economy transitions toward a low-carbon future, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) face intensifying pressure to align their operations with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. This research investigates the strategic nexus between Green Logistics Management (GL) and Carbon Footprint Reduction (CF), specifically examining the mediating role of Digital Operational Efficiency (DE). Utilizing a quantitative research design, empirical data were collected from a purposive sample of 500 SME representatives across Thailand's manufacturing and service sectors. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the hypothesized causal relationships. Data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that while Green Logistics has a significant direct impact on Carbon Footprint Reduction (???? = 0.308, p < .001), its effectiveness is substantially amplified through Digital Operational Efficiency, which acts as a partial mediator (Indirect Effect = 0.132). The model achieves a predictive power of 26.6% (R2 = 0.266). Discussion of the results suggests that digitalization—including ERP systems, Cloud computing, and Big Data Analytics—functions as a "transparency bridge," allowing SMEs to provide traceable and verifiable carbon data to international stakeholders. The study concludes that for SMEs to remain resilient in the face of mandates like CBAM, they must adopt a "Digital-Green Integration" strategy. Managerial and policy recommendations focus on incentivizing digital adoption and upskilling human capital to foster long-term corporate sustainability.Sompong PunlaptaveePhenphak ManothamChanicha Moryadee

2026-03-042026-03-04435440Analysis of Tree Biomass and Carbon Sequestration: A Case Study of the Navaminda Kasatriyadhiraj Royal Air Force Academy
http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSSHANGHAI2026/article/view/2158
This study aims to analyze the aboveground biomass and carbon sequestration potential of trees within the Navaminda Kasatriyadhiraj Royal Air Force Academy (NKRAFA). Field data were collected from five designated zones, including tree species, diameter at breast height (DBH), and tree height. Standard allometric equations were used to estimate aboveground biomass, which was then converted into carbon stock and expressed as carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e). The results show that the total carbon sequestration potential of trees within the academy is approximately 590.30 metric tons CO₂e. Spatial analysis indicates that a higher number of trees does not necessarily lead to greater carbon sequestration. Areas with fewer but larger trees demonstrate higher biomass accumulation and greater carbon storage per unit area than areas with dense populations of smaller trees. These findings emphasize the importance of considering both tree size and biomass characteristics, rather than tree density alone, when assessing carbon sequestration potential. The results provide practical insights to support sustainable green space management and contribute to low-carbon development planning.Kiatkulchai Jitt-AerThaninrat Sittiwatethanasiri
