The study was based on the mixed-methods sequential explanatory design. Using a confirmatory factor analysis, the study investigated relational dimensions of SCP, SCC, LGF, and SCI. The research model comprised 4 latent variables measuring 13 observed variables. The only exogenous latent variable was SCI, while endogenous latent variables were SCC, LGF, and SCP. The respondents were selected using stratified random sampling. Data from a total 321 complete surveys were acquired from top executives working for auto-parts manufacturing firms in Thailand. Moreover, the guidelines to develop SCP were given, based on 5 in-depth interviews from both academicians and auto-parts manufacturer top executives. The hypotheses were tested on data collected by using structural equation modeling. The results supported that SCI enabled auto-parts manufacturing firms to enhance SCP effectively, and that SCC and LGF played a key role in mediating the effects of SCI on SCP. This research suggested that firms should consider policies or practices endorsing SCI, SCC, and LGF as they can improve SCP.
2019-11-29T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSJAPAN/article/view/304 OPTIMIZATION IN THE SUGAR TRANSPORT PROCESS CASE STUDY: ABC SUGAR TERMINAL PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED 2020-01-19T23:13:22+07:00 Piyaon Sriwan piyaon.sr@ssru.ac.th
This research aimed to study causes of the problems in the process of sugar transport from the warehouse to dock of ABC Sugar Terminal Public Company Limited in order to find solutions to the sugar transport process from the warehouses to the port of ABC Sugar Terminal Public Company Limited. The population was employees working within the Department of Information and Internal Audit Department, under the Bangkok Port, Port Authority of Thailand. The tools used for data collection were interview and participative observation. It was found that creating a manual for data transmission via the system enables employees to have an accurate understanding of how to use the system and how to send correct data through the system. It can also help reduce error and work process. By creating a manual, it helps employees understand the correct work process through the system clearly and quickly. Moreover, it increases coordination among departments through meetings among departments. These meetings allow different departments to express their opinions, problems and concerns. Improvements in the data transmission system process will result in more efficient operation, reduce the likelihood of data errors, ensure that data received is correct and reduce time spent waiting for new data if there is a mistake in data transmission. The total area is 1,355,204 rai.
The study results found that 1. Analysis Trends in agricultural land use consisting of dependent variable (agricultural holdings area) and independent variables (population and agricultural income). It can be explained by the quadratic function with two equations: The first equation; if population increases but agricultural holdings area decreases until the relative minimum point (inverse) and if population increases higher than the relative minimum point so agricultural holdings area will increase too (depend on). The second equation can be explained; agricultural income increases but agricultural holdings area decreases until the relative minimum point (inverse) and if agricultural income increases higher than the relative minimum point so agricultural holdings area will increase too (depend on). 2. Characteristics changes in agricultural land use by comparing land use statistics in Nakhon Pathom Province trend to be likely fixed. Suggestion 1. Area of agricultural holdings in next year will be likely fixed, when the population and income of the agricultural do not change too much. It depends on many factors; birth rates decrease, medical technology innovation therefore population does not change, the economy of Thailand does not expand and agricultural income will not change accordingly. 2.
