Using creative research methodology along with qualitative research. Related research experiments with Phuang Mahot stenciling materials and techniques and product prototype development under the concept of Scent of Transform ation. It has outstanding properties for its response to liquids and aromas. It can be used as both an aroma diffuser and an aesthetic element that causes changes in shape and color. At the same time, the stencil technique developed from the Phuang Mahot pattern enhances the dimension of light, shadow, and rhythm of shapes, affecting the user's sensory perceptual experience. A combination of cultural concepts, materials, and contemporary design innovations. It shows the potential of interpreting Thai arts and crafts in a new way. This paper proposes an analytical framework termed “Eco-choreography” to examine how contemporary Thai dance communicates environmental crisis narratives through dramaturgy, movement quality, material symbols, and sonic atmosphere . Using a multi -case design, the study analyses four performance dossiers that address (1) deforestation and heat, structured as destruction -restoration-abundance; (2) coral reef degradation driven by marine plastic, framed as deterioration-restoration-flourishing; (3) disasters of the four elements (earth, water, wind, fire) as nature’s warning against human negligence; and (4) drought interpreted through an Isan rainmaking ritual, contrasting hope with failed supplication and loss . Data comprise textual performance documents and structured performance analysis guided by the proposed framework; the paper additionally outlines an audience-oriented evaluation extension using creator interviews and pre - and post-performance audience measures of understanding, emotional connection, and behavioural intention (e.g., reduced plastic use ). Analytical synthesis of dossier-coded cues suggests that clear narrative arcs from crisis to repair, together with tangible on -body objects (e.g., nets, plastic -like materials, debris ), may strengthen potential audience legibility of causal responsibility and possibilities for restoration. The paper contributes a transferable tool for analysing and designing environmental performance in Thai cultural contexts and supports arts-based approaches to sustainability communication. 2026-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSHokkaido2026/article/view/2481 Reinterpreting Tai Lue Textile Motifs for Contemporary Fabric Pattern Design 2026-04-01T06:50:26+07:00 Chanoknart Mayusoh chanoknart.ma@ssru.ac.th Jaruwan Kunaloei jjjruwan64@gmail.com Siracha Samleetong siracha.sa@ssru.ac.th Traditional textile motifs of the Tai Lue ethnic group represent a significant form of intangible cultural heritage, reflecting cultural identity, beliefs, and local wisdom transmitted through generations. However, many traditional motifs face challenges in adapting to contemporary design cont exts and modern consumer preferences . This study aims to reinterpret Tai Lue textile motifs and transform them into contemporary fabric pattern designs while preserving their cultural identity and symbolic meanings .This research employs a design-based research methodology, integrating qualitative cultural analysis with practical design development . The study begins with an in -depth investigation of Tai Lue textile traditions, focusing on motif characteristics, symbolic meanings, and visual elements through document analysis and visual observation. The works emerge from encounters with unfamiliar landscapes in the early morning, where light, atmosphere, temperature, and spatial conditions converge . Rather than emphasizing literal representation, the paintings prioritize emotional resonance and sensory perception, transforming transient moments into affective images grounded in memory and inner feeling. The creative process explores a distinctive artistic approach within visual arts, beginning with direct observation of place and continuing through studio-based interpretation. Color, gestural brushwork, and layered textures function as primary visual elements for conveying inner experience and psychological states . Each artwork serves as a trace of movement - both physical and introspective - reflecting awakening as a moment of awareness, renewal, and engagement with the surrounding environment. Through this approach, the series presents travel not merely as geographical movement, but as an ongoing internal process shaped by perception, memory, and emotional depth . The works invite viewers to contemplate and reflect upon their own lived experiences within the context of contemporary culture and painting. 2026-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSHokkaido2026/article/view/2484 Factors Affecting the Completion of Studies Beyond the Timeframe of Doctoral Students in Performing Arts, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Year 2025 2026-04-01T06:50:27+07:00 Nonticha Kantida nonticha.ka@ssru.ac.th Chutima Maneewattana chutima.ma@ssru.ac.th This study aimed to (1) investigate the problems and factors contributing to delayed graduation among students enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Performing Arts, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and (2) pro pose solutions to address the issue of graduation beyond the prescribed timeframe. Since their creation by the Fine Arts Department in 1967, the five dance sets—Dvaravati, Srivijaya, Lopburi, Chiang Saen, and Sukhothai —have served not only as representations of different historical periods, but also as a coherent system of creative interpretation that bridges past material culture and living performance practice. This study examines the shared aesthetic structure underly ing the five archaeological dance sets, with particular attention to choreography, music, costume design, and spatial organisation. It further explores the cultural value of archaeological dances from their original historical context to their contemporary circulation. A qualitative research approach grounded in historical inquiry was employed, drawing on documentary sources, photographic materials, expert interviews in Thai classical dance, and video analysis of official performances produced by the Fine Arts Department. The findings reveal that, despite stylistic variations linked to specific historical contexts, the archaeological dances are unified by a common conceptual framework. Choreographic design is characterised by specialised hand gestures and si gnature movement motifs derived from archaeological evidence; musical compositions share a consistent structural progression while employing period -evocative instrumentation; costume design balances archaeological reference with theatrical adaptation; and spatial organisation emphasises symmetry and legibility. Together, these elements constitute a shared aesthetic structure that enables archaeological imagery to be transformed into coherent performance. From a cultural perspective, the study argues that archaeological dances function both as foundational models for later historically informed dance creations and as a form of cultural soft power. Through their adaptability and recognisable aesthetic identity, archaeological dances continue to mediate between heritage, contemporary creativity, and global cultural circulation. 2026-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSHokkaido2026/article/view/2489 Process for requesting financial support for research presentations using the Smart Operation System (SOS) of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts personnel. The research aims to (1) study the key painting techniques evident in Fantin-Latour’s still life works and (2) apply these techniques to the practice of still life painting in an instructional context. Grounded in a qualitative, practice-based research framework, the study was conducted in the Painting 3 course at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The participants consisted of 28 second -year undergraduate painting students. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and analysis of student portfolios. The findings indicate that Fantin-Latour’s still life paintings are characterized by a disciplined indirect oil painting process, including tonal underpainting (grisaille), transparent layering and glazing, selective use of opaque pai nt, and refined surface treatment. These techniques emphasize tonal control, spatial depth, and material sensitivity rather than dramatic visual effects. The application phase translated these technical principles into a structured five- stage studio process, guiding students from preparatory drawing and tonal establishment to the integration of transparent and opaque layers and final surface refinement. The results demonstrate that this systematic approach supports the development of technical proficiency, tonal coherence, and visual unity in students’ still life paintings. The study highlights the pedagogical value of integrating art historical techniques into contemporary painting instruction and affirms the relevance of traditional oil painting methods within higher education in fine arts. 2026-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSHokkaido2026/article/view/2496 Visual Symbols and the Colors of Happiness 2026-04-01T06:50:28+07:00 Jaruwan Mueangkhwa jaruwan.mu@ssru.ac.th The article Visual Symbols and the Colors of Happiness aims to examine the roles of symbols and color in visual art and their influence on the perception and interpretation of “happiness” within the context of contemporary human experience. The study employed qualitative analysis focusing on two dimensions —musical instruments and repertoire —within standard- level hotels and restaurants. Findings reveal a significant shift from traditional practices toward solo performances and small ensembles. There is a notable reduction in rhythmic percussion, such as cymbals and drums, to accommodate the service environment. The khim, ranat ek, and jak he are the most preferred instruments due to their controllable volume and acoustic compatibility, allowing for musical aesthetics without disrupting business activities. Furthermore, flexible ensembles have emerged as a strategic adaptation to organizational branding and budget constraints. Regarding repertoire, compositions with concise structures and accessible melodies in double and single tempos—particularly those with foreign -influenced accents (Samniang) —demonstrate high commercial potential. These e lements effectively enhance the guest experience. The study concludes that integrating traditional Thai musical expertise with business -oriented sensibilities is vital for enhancing professional competency and ensuring the career sustainability of Thai musicians within the modern creative industry. 2026-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSHokkaido2026/article/view/2500 Factors Affecting the Delayed Graduation of Graduate Students in the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University 2026-04-01T06:50:28+07:00 Sasanant Rattanapornpisit sasanant.ra@ssru.ac.th Manissa Vasinarom manissa.va@ssru.ac.th This research aims to study and analyze factors affecting delayed graduation, as well as to propose supportive guidelines for graduate students in the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University to ensure timely completion accordi ng to academic standards. Despite their smaller scale, fashion acces sories involve complex material combinations and short product lifecycles, which present significant sustainability challenges. This study investigates how circular thinking can be systematically integrated into fashion accessories design by examining mate rial innovation and product lifecycle strategies. The research aims to: (1) analyze circular design principles as applied to fashion accessories, (2) examine material innovations suitable for circular accessories, including biomaterials and recycled materials, and (3) propose a comprehensive framework to support lifecycle -based circular design in accessories. A qualitative design research approach was employed, combining a systematic literature review with comparative case studies of contemporary fashion accessories brands that actively implement circular strategies. The selected cases were analyzed through a lifecycle lens, encompassing material sourcing, design development, production, use, and end-of-life stages. The findings reveal that effective circular accessories design relies on early -stage material selection, mono -material or modular construction, and design strategies that enhance durability, repairability, and emotional attachment. However, current practic es often address isolated stages of the lifecycle rather than adopting an integrated approach. In response, this study proposes a Circular Accessories Design Framework that synthesizes material innovation with lifecycle thinking to guide designers in making informed and sustainable design decisions. This research contributes to the expanding discourse on circular design by providing an accessories-specific framework that bridges theory and design practice. The proposed framework offers practical implications for designers, educators, and industry stak eholders seeking to advance sustainable innovation within the fashion accessories sector. 2026-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSHokkaido2026/article/view/2503 Creative Printed Textile Design for Value Addition to Tourism Products of the Amphawa Community, Samut Songkhram Province, Thailand. 2026-04-01T06:50:28+07:00 Suwit Sadsunk author@example.com Supawadee Juysukha author@example.com The objective of this research was to study the cultural identity and way of life of the Amphawa community, Samut Songkhram Province, Thailand, and to apply the acquired knowledge to the development of printed textile designs for tourism product design. Specific melodic passages from "Ma Mia" were selected for presentation, as the original work functions as a folk ballad narrative, which has been adapted into an instrumental chamber music format. This cross -cultural arrangement contributes to expanding the brass quintet repertoire while promoting Lanna cultural heritage to international audiences. The study demonstrates that themes d erived from folk ballads can be successfully adapted for Western chamber ensembles while maintaining cultural authenticity, provided that arrangers make deliberate decisions regarding which musical elements constitute the core identity that must be preserv ed, and which elements may be modified to suit the new format The arrangement employs a free-form approach that integrates Lanna aesthetic principles with Western brass quintet techniques. Key strategies include conceptualizing a creative work that harmoniously blends Lanna and Western musical cultures while preserving the authenticity of the original composition. The piece is primarily in the key of A minor. The opening section serves as an introduction, emulating the narrative storytelling tradition characteristic of Lanna folk songs ( folk song kham mueang ), utilizi ng time signatures of 3/4, 4/4, and 2/4 to accommodate the melodic contours of the song. The low brass instruments, particularly the tuba, function as harmonic foundation and accompaniment. The trumpet carries the principal melody, alternating and interweaving with the trombone in certain melodic passages, alongside other instruments to create timbral diversity and musical flow while maintaining fidelity to the original melody 2026-03-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSHokkaido2026/article/view/2505 A Study on Users’ Satisfaction with the Computer Center Services of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University 2026-04-01T06:50:28+07:00 Waraporn Chaiyaporn waraporn.ch@ssru.ac.th Whutthichai Khathawi whutthichai.kh@ssru.ac.th The objectives of this research were: 1.
