The guidelines for reducing logistics costs for durian export can be summarized as follows: 1. Upstream farmer groups should reduce fertilizer costs urgently to reduce production costs and use more organic fertilizers as appropriate for planting. 2. Collection: Since there are currently multiple collection steps, those involved should check before collection to make the collection management system faster and more efficient. 3. Labor in the process from upstream to downstream The use of necessary labor should be controlled because it will help reduce farmers' costs more. 4. Quality: Adjust the quality of durian to meet customer needs. Entrepreneurs focus on inspecting the quality of durian. 5. Try to improve the ability to estimate the ripening period of durian. 6. Preparing documents such as plant disease certificates, residues, or insects requested from the Department of Agriculture. This is for convenient and easy transportation to the destination. These technologies play a crucial role in daily life, encompassing education, entertainment, and business. The rapid growth of technology has transformed trade systems, shifting from traditional brick-and-mortar stores—characterized by high costs and limited customer access—to the expansion of e-commerce via the Internet. This shift reduces costs, enhances efficiency, and broadens customer bases without reliance on distributors and middlemen. (Natpatsaya et al., 2024). Despite its growth, the success of e-commerce relies heavily on effective logistics and transportation management systems. Efficient delivery ensures goods reach customers on time while minimizing costs. However, many organizations still face challenges such as delays and high operational costs due to inadequate systems. Delivery quality remains a critical factor, with customers prioritizing speed, accuracy, and reliable tracking. This study examines factors influencing customer satisfaction with delivery services, focusing on two key areas: Employee performance and problem-solving – Prompt and professional service to address customer issues. Delivery quality and tracking – Accurate, timely deliveries with transparent tracking systems. An analysis of online delivery services in Bangkok reveals overall customer satisfaction to be positive. However, deeper insights highlight these two factors as most impactful. Addressing these areas can enhance customer trust, improve logistics systems, and create competitive advantages for businesses in the growing e-commerce market (Papinda Kammanee, 2022).
2025-03-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSDANANG2025/article/view/1648Student Satisfaction with the Services of the Registration and Evaluation Division, College of Logistics and Supply Chain, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University2025-04-08T14:43:07+07:00Nucharee ThongkamNucharee.th@ssru.ac.thWiriya Boonmalertwiriya.bo@ssru.ac.th
The study aims to study students' satisfaction with the services provided by the Registration and Evaluation Division of the College of Logistics and Supply Chain, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. By extending the classical Newsvendor Problem, this research develops an optimized inventory model tailored to the operational dynamics of food trucks. The model incorporates stochastic demand modeling, salvage value integration, and real-time decision-making to balance overstock and understock risks while maximizing profitability.
A numerical example demonstrates the application of the model. Using a scenario with demand following a normal distribution (mean: 100 units, standard deviation: 20 units), the critical ratio and z-score determine an optimal inventory level of 115 units. Simulation over 10 days reveals consistent profitability, with revenue ranging from $1,200 to $1,725 and profits between $870 and $1,360. Unsold inventory was effectively mitigated through salvage value, highlighting the model’s ability to reduce waste while maintaining operational efficiency.
The results validate the extended Newsvendor Problem framework as a robust tool for optimizing inventory management in mobile food services. These tiles are kept in storage to be sold to customers who require older tile designs for various purposes, such as home repairs. From the warehouse study, it was found that the primary issue lies in the complexity and redundancy of the operational processes. In the process of locating ceramic tiles stored on pallets, the procedure must be divided into two sub-steps. Specifically, if employees need to retrieve ceramic tiles located on the bottom-most pallet for customer sales, they must first remove the tiles stacked on top before accessing the bottom layer. This challenge arises because the warehouse stores overstock ceramic tiles, necessitating the stacking of different tile types in two layers to maximize the use of the five available storage shelves. To address these issues, the researcher applied can be achieved through the application of Space Optimization principle to reduce waste. After the improvement, one redundant step in the workflow was eliminated. Additionally, the storage capacity on the shelves was increased from 5 to 9 layers, enabling more efficient use of storage space. This adjustment not only allowed for greater storage capacity but also enhanced the convenience of warehouse operations for employees.
2025-03-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSDANANG2025/article/view/1671Increasing the potential of air orchid exports in Thailand2025-04-08T16:25:04+07:00Punya HeedjunPunya.he@ssru.ac.thNipawan poojomNipawan.po@ssru.ac.thSarawut putnuanSarawut.pu@ssru.ac.th
This study aimed to 1. analyze the problems and obstacles in air orchid export in Thailand, 2. study the operation of air orchid export in Thailand, and 3. find ways to increase the potential of air orchid export in Thailand. The goal is to eliminate the usage of paper based processes in inventory control. There is probability to achieve this by removing unneeded activities and enabling sellers and managers to have access to current inventory data. A Desktop and Mobile cross platform application was created based on user views and selection of certain database. After the language application was deployed document processing time was reduced to 15.43 seconds and this enhanced the application’s efficiency by 71.64% from the previous 54.40 seconds. This also resulted in only 2 - 4 sheets of paper being consumed monthly when the average consumption 50.5 sheets. Thus they efficiently saved 1.2 reams of paper and 151.5 baht per year. Warehouse staff rated the software technology at overall 4 of 5 score for its ease of use and so it was well received. Studies show that companies should slash time and cost by using the inventory management.
2025-03-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) http://icbtsproceeding.ssru.ac.th/index.php/ICBTSDANANG2025/article/view/1684Digital Technology Factors and Environmental, Social, and Governance (D-ESG): A Strategic Framework2025-04-08T17:15:49+07:00Sompong Punlaptavees65584923011@ssru.ac.thChanicha Moryadeenutnicha.lek@bkkthon.ac.th
This study explores the relationship between digital technology factors and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, conceptualized as Digital-ESG (D-ESG).
